Centrinet Announces Acquisition of Disruptive Technology

Centrinet is excited to announce the acquisition of Disruptive Technology Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee. This acquisition brings Shawn Sloan to Centrinet as the vice president of technology. Sloan will lead the company’s technology stack across all practice areas to include consultative engineering, systems architecture, project delivery, data center operations, hosting services and the Centrinet Virtual Cloud, a new initiative led by Robert Ruppel to modernize the legacy information technology systems stack.

Sloan joins Centrinet’s executive team with over 20 years of information technology management experience, including CoreBTS, Bedroc, Citrix, Accordant and Ardent Healthcare. Sloan has spent the last 15 years as a leader specializing in architecting client solutions within networking and virtualization. Sloan holds a Bachelor of Science in information technology from Middle Tennessee State University and over 12 industry-standard certifications such as Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V) and Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCP-N) and Tintri Certified Solutions Expert (TCSX).

Sloan’s combined experience in information technology covers various areas within business development, strategy, process and project management, cloud operations, SaaS applications deployment, networking architecture, security and virtualization.

“As we approach our 20th year of delivering IT solutions to our clients that enable the technology to provide value to the business, we are excited about the next chapter as we enable our client’s cloud strategy and are thrilled to have Shawn join Centrinet to bring his leadership to this evolution,” said Keith Paschall, CEO of Centrinet.

Sloan’s addition to Centrinet’s leadership team coincides with the recent launch of Centrinet Virtual Cloud, a comprehensive SaaS-based managed solution that will modernize the legacy information technology stack. Sloan will be responsible for all technology strategy and delivery across Centrinet’s practice areas.

“As the technology vendors in our partner ecosystem push to produce cloud-ready products, our team has identified the need for a comprehensive managed solution set that will address the changing needs of our customers,” said Robert Ruppel, VP of the Centrinet Virtual Cloud practice.

“Centrinet’s proven architectural framework unites the information technology industry’s ‘best of breed’ products across various functions: security, security automation and reporting, computing, storage, networking, profile management and virtualization, just to name a few. I have known Shawn for 10 years and cannot think of another person more capable of assisting our client base to succeed than him,” said Ruppel.

The Centrinet Virtual Cloud will unify these legacy applications through a single, turn-key SaaS-based solution. The result will be a modernization of the legacy application stack. “Your IT stack will no longer feel arcane but will appear like any other SaaS deployment to the end-user community,” said Paschall.
